Haha oh I forgot about that! Geez, I still can't believe he ate all those cotton balls (back story for people who don't know, Tommy started acting strange for a few days, numbers went all wonky, wouldn't eat, then one day BLAH he through up all this stuff and I couldn't figure out what it was and then I realized he ate a bunch of cotton balls!! Silly cat...). I've definitely had a few scares with him over the years, but we made it through it and now look! He's doing so well!

THANK YOU ALL for your wonderful comments and support. LL has been a godsend to me. You guys have provided support and love and knowledge and wisdom and laughs and all sorts of other good stuff, and have helped me get through some very rough times. There was a period of time where taking care of Tommy became almost too much for me to bear, and I thought of giving him away. I am SO thankful that I did not and kept with it, but I honestly couldn't have done it without you guys! Even though Tommy can be grumpy and mean to Tibbs (and me! haha), I love him so much and those shining moments of him being sweet and cuddly make everything worth it :-) I truly never thought I would see this day, but I guess anything can happen in the magic of LL right??? :mrgreen: All I can say is its time to celebrate and THANK YOU ALL!!! Yay!!!!!!
 
Tommy! What an inspiration for so many kitties and beans that think it isn't possible to go OTJ unless they are newly diagnosed ... but two years later here you are.
The 100th OTJ kitty since Feb 2008. Awesome!

I remember that night. Almost broke my heart, your post :sad: I sent a cryptic PM to PJ asking if she had spare insulin to sell, and then later asked her to ignore. She probably still thinks I'm batty LOL.

Now look at him! OTJ! Aren't you glad you didn't give him away? :mrgreen: And I'll bet Tibby is glad too. Don't be mean to your sister, Tommy!
