Skipper wants to know if she gets frequent flyer miles

Thanks, everyone for all your good wishes!

Note to Newbies: If you get your cat regulated with insulin so that his/her numbers are consistently in the normal range, your cat will be healthy and happy and that is a *very* big win. OTJ is just the frosting on the cake.

I am very pleased by this trip back to the Falls; but was not actively trying for it and did not expect it. Skip and I are both too old now for sleeping on the kitchen table at 2AM waiting for the next test as we have done in the past. Most importantly, I didn't want to drive her numbers into the cellar and then tax her liver for a bounce. So,I settled on a dose that kept her in the normal range and if we had to use that same dose for the rest of our lives, it would have been OK with me as long as she was OK. When it became apparent many months later that maybe she could use a little less, I started to reduce the dose until she was weaned off.

Thanks, Skipper for being brave and trusting and patient through it all. I hope you know how much I love you.
