I know Simba's journey to :otj: was fairly short, but I don't even want to think how long and awful + potentially unsuccessful it would have been have I not found the FDMB! It must've been around 1am when I came across the message board and my first thought was - oh this looks a bit ancient... :rolleyes: But I quickly saw that the FDMB was very active and packed with lots of valuable information. Within the first week of joining I started to test Simba's BG regularly, changed him to only LC wet food, managed to get a prescription for Lantus... all thanks to you wonderful people! :cat:

Special thanks to @Bandit's Mom for helping throughout the day and @tiffmaxee for guiding me through the night. My memory of those days & nights is a bit of a blur in between all of the napping, testing and feeding. And of course a massive thank you to everyone else (too many of you to tag :smuggrin:) for your constant support and messages on Simba's condos. My little lion is doing so well and my mama heart is very grateful & thankful for you all. :bighug:

I know that I would have been feeding Bandit "prescription" food and keeping her above 150 (every vet I've met has advised me against allowing Bandit's BG to go lower than 150!) if I had followed the advice of my vet! :confused:

Entrees: Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili with fresh salsa; Rotisserie Rabbit; Chicken Provencal; Chef Mannie's Renowned PNW Poached Sockeye Salmon with Catnip Mayo; Big Mac's Burger Extravaganza.
