We really couldn't have got here without all the help from everyone on this board - a HUGE thanks to all of you for all the patience you've shown me and the time you've all spent helping me - and I fully intend to pay that help forwards to anyone here I can help!

I'm actually feeling a little emotional this morning - with happiness of course, but I really never thought Rosa would get to this point...it's amazing to see her back to her usual self and so obviously feeling good every day! :D And now I get to call my vet (who has been dubious about the whole thing from the start) with the good news!! ;)

The girls have their party frocks on and are busy gearing up for the celebrations! :D

Thank you! :D We'll be sticking around to see what help we can give other people - and of course to give updates on how Rosa's doing! This board feels like family - we'll definitely still be here even if I'm not testing Rosa every day anymore!
 
Thank you all! :D I hope we'll only be stopping by for visits - who knows what the future holds, but if Rosa can get this far, I'm hoping she'll carry on doing well!

@Tina & Sammy - Sammy was so close to making it this time. I'm sure he won't be long in joining us at the Falls!
 
Kudos to you, April :D I just took a look at Rosa's history on her spreadsheet and am absolutely amazed at how far she's come in just a few months. What a kitty :cat:!

Rosa, I'll never forget how you helped find me the first night my bean poked me and found out I was in the deep end! Thanks for making sure she was giving me enough yummy gravy and carbs! She still hasn't stopped poking... but maybe one day! I got my furs highlighted and my best party dress on for your party!!!! Let's boogie! :cat:
 
I remember that too Noodle!! We had some good PJ parties! :D And we can still have more - I can get to stay up late just to have PJ parties with you any time you want me to!! Momma says I only have to get poked on Saturdays now instead of lots and lots so maybe one day soon you won't have to get poked every day either! :D Let's party! Rosa

I think I've forgotten how to sleep in - I'm going to have to work on that, at least at weekends!! :D Though I have learned to value the sleep I do get instead of wishing there could be more of it - that's something that FD really does teach you! Even though it's only been about 3 months, it actually feels really weird not to have to work my schedule around Rosa's - it's surprising how quickly we can all adapt to such a change in our lives.

I'll still be here - now I get to pay forward all the help I've had from everyone here and try and make things a bit less stressful for others if I can! :D I don't think I could just disappear from here - it would be like losing my family now!!

It is an old style radio that's on the chair - but unfortunately a modern copy rather than an original. She does like to sleep next to the most unusual things!! ;)

I think Rosa is looking forward to no more pokes, though I do plan to test her once a week - it'll be easier to keep track of than once a month, and I can be right on top of it if anything does start looking unusual. But after being poked up to 20 times a day, I doubt she'll even notice once a week!! :D :D

(I've been letting myself sleep in on weekends a bit, and the boys are not terribly pleased by this new turn of events. Tonka is very good about stomping all over the pillow to try to entice me to get up and feed him at his usual time ;))
 
I'm sure I'll be woken up any time I try to sleep in a bit. They get very nervous and twitchy if I don't appear on time (or if I wake up too early...or change even the tiniest little thing about anything). But they're usually pretty good to settle down and snuggle once they know I'm still alive! ;)
 
Congratulations on reaching the falls! Enjoy the sleeping in and the other perks of joining the OTJ club. I'm so happy for you two. Also, tell Rosa and Regan that their fur looks fabulous. They have really nice coats.
 
Many congratulations to you guys :D:D:D so glad Rosa made it :D:D:D and she shares a most auspicious OTJ date, Vyktor was OTJ three years ago today and still going strong :D:D:D

Thank you! :D And happy third OTJ anniversary to Vyktor!! :D :D Now Rosa has something to aim for - staying OTJ as long as Vyktor has! :D

I had to include the laser eyes pics - they always make me laugh. :) They love their bunk beds - I wasn't sure they'd like them to begin with but they took to them straight away.

I'll never forget the first time Rosa went under 50 and I was panicking and you stayed with us right through until she was safe - I will always be so grateful to you for that. I don't think we'd have got through that night without you keeping me calm and talking me through what I needed to do!! I really hope I can help other people now the way you helped me. :D
 
Again, many, many thanks to each and every person on this board for the lovely messages and for all the help! :D :D There is absolutely no way I could have got Rosa this far without all of you and no matter how long (or short, but I'm hoping for long) she is able to stay OTJ - you proved to me that it can be done and helped me to get there too. So much of the credit for getting her to this point goes to each and every one of you! :D :D The support and kindness I've seen from everyone here is second to none and I really feel as though everyone here has become part of my family! :D

So with that in mind, just because Rosa doesn't need a condo everyday doesn't mean I won't be here - quite the opposite (and the naughty side of my brain is now saying "can't get rid of me that easily you know";) ). Now it's my turn to pay it forward and help others who have questions or need support, as I have been helped on so many occasions. There has never been a time when I couldn't find level-headed advice here - and always the right advice too. As I said yesterday - I couldn't disappear from here now because it would be like losing my family! And I mean that in the very best possible way - everyone here is the family I would have chosen if that were possible to do. Hugs to all of you :bighug: :bighug: :bighug:
