Confession time - when Rita was asked if she would foster a diabetic cat she called me first. The only question she asked was how hard it was to give a cat an insulin injection. I told the truth and said it was very easy, but I didn’t tell her the rest until she already had Lulu :woot: In my defence I knew she could do it and I figured Rita was going to be Lulu’s best option - because she would have us :bighug: Fortunately for my chances of longevity it didn’t take Lulu too long to get with the program and get :otj:

I had a feeling when you first got here on 4U that you might not need to be here long! I don't know why but I did! Great news and we're all thrilled for you!

Great job Rita, congratulations! May Lulu have a wonderful life off the juice, wherever she ends up. So nice to have Serryn around to give you a helping hand too.
 
Congratulations Rita and Lulu. I didn't think she'd be on insulin long either the way she was coming down so fast. You did a great job Rita.

Oh wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, last night we went out and celebrated Lulu's :otj:. I stumbled home at 1am hahahah
Even though I was sort of tricked into taking Lulu by Serryn @Vyktors Mum it was my fault cause I didn't was the right questions ha ha ha But all is well and Lulu gets a second chance on life. This has been one of the most amazing and rewarding experiences of my life.

Thank you Thank you Thank you to Wendy @Wendy&Neko and Carla @carfurby for supporting us at every step of the way. Thank you to everyone else who popped in and offered words of encouragement and advice. We never felt like we were going it alone.

Little Lulu was waiting on her testing chair this morning for her soup haha but my pounding head called for a break so we went straight to feeding time. Lulu looked a little confused ha ha

And finally a very special thanks to Serryn @Vyktors Mum who held my hand at every step and knew what we could achieve and never lost hope. You are a pillar of strength my friend and 1 super amazing woman. :kiss:
