Well, what can I say but THANK you all for the wonderful advice, support, and caring! When Kushi was DX a month ago, the first thing I did was to pray for her. Then my vet told me to go on line and research Feline diabetes. Well I came home and immediately Googled "Feline Diabetes" and lo and behold the first site I found was FDMB . Now to me that is a "God Thing" (and a good thing). Had we not ended up here, I am not sure where we would be now, but I do know that we are where we are now because of FDMB. You people are awesome!

I also want to say that I am thankful for our vet. She has been very supportive through all of this and and, as I have said before, referred several of her patients here already. I know from reading other posts some have not had such a positive experience with their vet. So thank you Dr. Stapler!

Congratulations Joe! And may I say what a cutie Kushi is? She is so adorable with those curly whiskers! I hope you are enjoying having a healthy and happy kitty. All of us in FDMB celebrate with you!!

No more shots, but don't forget to check her BG periodically to keep informed of any little changes that might affect her. You both are used to the routine so it shouldn't be a problem to poke that ear every so often. :lol:

Kushi is a perfect example that getting your kitty on a proper diet of wet only, low carb food can almost immediately get them off the juice. Yay Kushi!!! :RAHCAT :RAHCAT
