Seeing Gracie's OTJ video reminded me of how much you'd been through with Belle. Clearly, Belle thought you needed an FD kitty in your life. You have done so well by Gracie, on all counts. Congratulations again and truly enjoy life at the Falls.

Gracie, as head chef in LL it is my honor to cook for your party today. We are all so proud of you, and wish you much happiness at the Falls. Thanks Everyone! The weight of the world is off my shoulders this wonderful day! I felt so bad that Gracie had been through so much and that I gave her diabetes with a steroid shot brought on by my parental paranoia. I didn't want my neurosis to be the reason she'd have this her whole life :-D

So this morning everyone was waiting for Gracie to get dressed and make her entrance to the party...

She came out head held high and and all proud of herself! dancing_cat She loved the attention! Unfortunately for her, her sister Destin(bottom right corner) wasn't having any of it. I gave everyone their special salmon treats and Destin ran over and stole Gracie's sizable chunk! Gracie looked at Daddy and of course got another big piece. She's lying comfortably in the sun, basking in the glory that is her!

Thank you again to everyone here in LL. You are all so supportive and I couldn't and wouldn't have made it through this process with my sanity intact without you all.

It's also special to see Belle recognized in her video. I do believe Belle brought Gracie to me to ease the pain of her loss, and everything I learned in treating Belle led me to be strong enough and knowledgeable enough to do right by Gracie. She was my baby, raised from a few weeks old, and even 7 months later, it is hard to believe she's not here.

MISS GRACIE!!!​

Love the pic of all the kids, and the story of Belle. My Miss Jezebelle's nickname was Miss Belle, so it brings an extra big smile to my face to be reminded of my special girl. Enjoy life at the Falls!!

I truly believe Gracie was sent to you from Belle. You finished Belle's work with Gracie and succeeded. What a wonderful story. I loved the video and the photo you posted of all your cats. I started welling up when I saw the dedication to Belle. Congratulations!

Gracie is doing great this morning. Ate two nice meals already, and she's had her last ear prick for a week. I'm sure she's thrilled about that.

Thanks again everyone for stopping bye and wishing us well. I will be around on occasion and look forward to seeing the wonderful progress that all of you will make!

To all of the wonderful folks out there dealing with difficult situations, I'll be thinking about you. I know what it's like and all I can hope for you is as much wonderful and precious time as possible, and peace in your heart when it's time to say goodbye. I have never seen a more caring group of folks and know in my heart everyone here has done the absolute best by their babies. Although things never end as we wish, unless we miraculously get the ability to shift space and time, there is nothing anyone can do to change the inevitable.
