well what a trip this was huh? seriously one of the toughest cases i've ever worked on. and she has a SS that will be referred to many times in future for what has to be done with a microdose flirting with ketones cat. not easy, but the old saying of sometimes ya just gotta do what needs to be done applies. awesome job to both hollis and karen! you both deserve medals. :-D

and really nice to finally get to see what miss grace looks like, what a pretty girl.

enjoy life back at the falls, it is a wonderful place to be.

Grace certainly didn't make this journey easy for either one of you, but look where she is today!
What a case study for what to do when ketones are present... the need for more insulin and managing the curve with food. The link to Grace's spreadsheet resides on my toolbar for easy access. Her journey will serve as an example for those who find themselves in similar circumstances.
Good job... both of you!

Karen, One only dreams of having friends as wonderful as you. Watching you take the time to help Hollis and Grace in this way.....words just cannot describe how truly special that is.

And Hollis...what an incredibly dedicated mommabean! So driven to help her baby - willing to do whatever it took.
