Thanks everyone! A special thanks to CD for making the wonderful video. If was clever of you to remember that I work p/t at WDW and incorporate that into the show.

Yes, that last photo is of him and me. As you may know, we have photographers around the park and also at the delux resorts for photo sessions. Last Christmas, they decided to try offering photo sessions at the Best Friends Spa & Resort on property. For $25, Cedric & I had a 10 minute photo session in the doggie day room (needless to say he was more interested in checking out all the stuff in the room). Of the 23 photos, there were about 8 or 9 that were good and I went to town, buying 6 5x7, an ornament, a luggage tag and a water bottle. Thank goodness our discount was still 40%! And one of the photos was free.

One thing I wanted to mention for anyone who might visit our resort with your pet. Best Friends took over the operation of the WDW kennels in january 2008, and opened a pet resort and spa on property last year.
Cedric has stayed with Best Friends/WDW in Feb 2008 (an emergency, my regular kennel had closed and didn't call me and I was able to have him stay at the Ft Wilderness kennel while I went to Disneyland), Sept & Oct 2009, jan 2011 and may 2011 - those last 2x at the new resort. I found the new place to be a nice environment for the cats - they have their own seperate room with their own ventalation (no dogs to smell), a double door in & out of the "kitty city" and nice 2 story condos with a seperate room for the litter box (if you have 2 cats, the condos turn into 4 stories). They are there 24 hours a day, although they aren't open 24 hours, you can access your pet in emergency. They open 1 hour before the first park opens, and this includes extra magic hours. When I was staying with friends at Animal Kingdom Lodge last month, they opened at 7am each day that I was there. While they will not administer meds to your pet, they have no problem allowing you to do so. They have a fridge that I kept Cedric's insulin in, and I was able to come 2x per day to give him his injections. They allow you to visit your pet if you want, especially if you have a dog and want to walk him/her.

Just in case anyone is interested in coming down and bringing their sugar baby! The photo of Cedric in the video with the falls in the background (early in the vid) was taken by the Best Friends staff and sent to my email. They also give you a report card to let you know how he/she has been doing while at the spa. Please note that the other 5 kennels on property have closed; this is the only place for pets on property and is accross from Port Orleans-Riverside on Bonnet Creek parkway. You do not have to be staying at a WDW resort to board your pet there.
