OTJ PARTY FOR BUBBA TODAY!!!

What's with the finger surgeries? Arthritis?? I have index finger on my right hand that is 1/2 crippled with osteoarthritis. Yes, the aging thing does suck somewhat.
I've had arthritis in my hands since my 20s. I now have both Osteo and inflammatory in pretty much all my joints. I'm going to have a finger (middle one on my left hand) fused in December, then joints replaced in the ring and pinkie fingers on first my right hand, then my left hand, with three months between each surgery. Hopefully that will give me more use and less pain. They don't do joint replacement in the middle or index fingers (high rate of failure), so fusion was the only option there. Hoping I won't have to have the index fingers fused down the road. I'd say fingers crossed, but that would hurt! :p

Wow! I hope all goes well! Arthritis just sucks. My left index finger didn’t have full bending mobility. I haven’t looked into anything yet... can you say “ procrastinator” ? I’ll be interested to hear how your surgeries and fusing go.

So sorry Tricia! Prayers and good thoughts for the best possible results!

trigger finger? If so it's any easy procedure, at least for me 3 times.
