and now we're back. Sigh.

Our Chloe seemed slightly off lately. Lost a little weight, seemed to be drinking slightly more. Tested today...and bam. 303. I couldn't believe it. Last time we tested she was in the 80s. I tested the other ear, just to make sure...and it was 306. We just gave her her first shot of insulin since the February.

Is it normal to come out of remission like this and be able to slide back into being diet controlled?

I'm so upset. I knew I just had to come back here and see if I was justified in being as upset as I am. nailbite_smile

Chloe could be harboring some kind of infection. How are her teeth? Maybe it's time for a check up at the Vettybeans?

ETA: Stress could also be a culprit. Is there any new stress in Chloes life? Maybe a strange kitty hanging around? Thats what put my kitty over the edge and into diabetic numbers.

Hi sorry you had to come back. We are back after almost 1 year OTJ. I completely understand how upset you are, believe me.

Check out all of the usual suspects like Jeanne said.

I have heard of some people getting diet controled again but I've also heard that it gets harder every time. Harley became insulin dependant again after being boarded so I thought once the stress went away he would go off again quickly but so far no cigar, although we get close from time to time.

At least we already know the routine. ((((Jess & Chloe))))
