Hi everyone,

I'd be very grateful for some advice regarding being otj. At how many days without insulin is it classed that a cat is officially otj? I'm thinking it's 14, but am unsure if I'm remembering correctly.

I've just read Murphy's bg at 5.1 on the evening of his 14th day without insulin, so I'm wondering.

I think it's said that 14 days below 130 with no insulin equals OTJ. But my vet said if a test comes up over that, don't shoot. Give it a few cycles to see what's happening.

To be classed as in remission, he needs to go 2 weeks in normal numbers without insulin.
