Hi everyone,
No insulin since April 5. Still putting out all green numbers. You all know who you are that helped me get here so thanks to you all.
I took Boots in for his 6 month blood work/check up today. Being a Saturday, I will not get the results until Monday or Tuesday and then I will update the Labs tab that's attached to my SS. I'm hoping his kidney values have stabilized.
My vet is very impressed with his 'looks' and his weight went down from 7.8 kg to 6.3 kg since April. She has totally endorsed the feeding of the low carb and low phosphorous Friskies SD canned food.
Since I haven't kept up on his teeth maintenance, I asked her to take a look at them and tell me what she thinks. She noticed a severely resorptive molar that was inflamed. She wants to take care of that early next week and get him all fixed up. He still acts normal but I'm sure it's painful for him.
That's all for now.
Thanks again to all of you.
Dwight
