Doodles & Karen

Very Active Member
I'm a former Lantus & Levemir member for my Doodles. I have a friend not on FDMB who is treating their cat with Prozinc without home testing (only getting a fructoasime test every 6 months) and she posted a video of a severe hypo this morning on FB. She's not listening and would love to share a SS with her showing what a Prozinc cycle looks like and how often the dosing needs to be adjusted to give her an eye opener. Thanks in advance...my goal is to get her on this board ASAP.

Oh that sounds awful. Not sure if my Ss is what you’re lookin for, but you’re welcome to it. The second tab for Prozinc might be better than the current one.

Thank you! At this point I've pi**ed her off so wished her luck. Wish I could share the video's but they are locked down with privacy on FB. They almost made me vomit and yet she still hasn't taken him to the vet nor will actually consider anything I'm saying might be right. sigh.....

You're welcome to use mine too, Karen. Teasel was still on ProZinc in January of this year. The link to 2016 will get you to his PZ data from when I joined FDMB in August of 2016. Now, Teasel being Teasel it's hardly ideal PZ data but you're welcome to it!:)

That's my point for her to see but she has no interest at the moment. I almost vomited looking at the video this morning. :( Now I'm exhausted with having an anxiety attack LOL.
Poor you! What's that saying about leading a horse to water? I sure hope for her kitty's benefit that she comes around ASAP. Keep us posted ...

Oh no! I'm so sorry Karen. Let us know if we can do anything to help out...and remember that you're doing what you can, and that's really all you CAN do. :bighug::bighug:

You're more than welcome to use mine as well! Pita has some pretty good cycles along with ones where he drops low and I feed him before anything more severe happens.

Oh Karen! What a day you've had dealing with that!!!! Hugs to you, and many thanks for trying to help her out. As Rachel said, let us know if we can do anything. And if she does decide to join over here, we'll be happy to help out!
