OT: Time to clean out the supplies

I finally got my act together to put together a list of Neko's supplies that I no longer need. I will be posting on the Supply Closet in a couple of days, but thought I'd give you guys a first chance at them because LL has been my home. :bighug: Some things I would prefer to sent to Canadian members (such as syringes) cause I'm not sure how well customs will treat them. Send me a PM if you could use any of these. Financial need will be a factor, but otherwise first to ask gets it.

Diabetic supplies
  • One box opened Freestyle Lancets, 28 gauge. Slightly less than 100 left. - gone
  • BD UltraFine II syringes, 3/10 mL, 8 mm (5/16 inch), 31G, 40 syringes, plus 8 syringes that are 6mm - gone
  • One 0.5 oz package of Neosporin with pain relief, unopened. gone
  • One BD Safe-Clip (needle clipper), unused
  • 7 boxes of 50 Arkray Glucocard 01 test strips, exp 2017-07, gone
  • One bottle of Glucoard 01 control solution, expired 2016-11, don’t know if it’s still good
  • One Relion Confirm meter (my backup, blue), with lancet device in bag
  • One Bayer Contour meter (World measurements)
  • One Frio Insulin Cooler – extra small travel wallet (5 x 5.5 inches), blue, used twice
  • Two packages of 100 cotton rounds, great for holding the ear for testing - gone
  • One extra Relion lancet device
I also have one cartridge left of Levemir. It needs to be shipped cool so might have to ask for shipping costs if I can't find a local home for it.

Other meds/supplies
  • Gelatin capsules – size #4, 100 - gone
  • Fortekor (benazepril "chewable") 2.5 mg, expiry 2018-06, 22 doses
  • Aluminum Hydroxide, 1/3 of a 4 oz container, Exp 11/2019

AH never expires. You might want to gang in to the gelcaps. They won't go bad and may come in handy for your civvue when he's much older. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I hung on to most of my gelcaps, as they sure do come in handy when pilling any cat. I did share some with Tiina because I overbought. :oops::joyful:

Thank you Wendy. The generosity of those here in L&LL is amazing.

We remember how very hard this was to do, like letting go of the last bit of our sweet kitty. Then I had a vision of Zener being so happy to help others and it felt less sad and became such a joyful thing to do. Each and every thing we sent to another bean and kitty was like a gift from Zener to those who had helped us so much in so many ways.

Oh Wendy, I've been off line for quite a while and only learned of Neko's passing today. I'm so sorry. Your tribute to her was lovely, and this is yet another example of your generosity and kindness. Take care, and thank you for all that you do, for Neko and for the rest of us:bighug:
