We all know the power of LL. I am asking that we say prayers and send positive thoughts and vines to all of the individuals involved in the shooting incident in Connecticut. I know we cannot alleviate the pain they are all suffering but perhaps our prayers will help in some small way.

many thoughts and prayers to the entire community there. fwiw, one of our own, jennifer, aka: tuckers mom, is nearby and touched by it even more and possibly in ways the rest of us in the world will never have to experience as is her friend Robin and unfortunately probably more people that they know. i pray our thoughts and prayers can give them strength to get thru this and help them help their communities get thru this.

I was so outraged to see that today, and I concur - what is wrong with people? How can anyone do that to another human being, no matter who but especially to small children. Our prayers are with them for strength and hope as well.

I can't believe this! These were all very young children. The school only went up to 4th grade! The oldest kids were 10! How could anyone want to hurt such little children, some of them barely babies!!

Prayers, Prayers. Prayers. How can anyone do this? His heart must have been totally black. Seeing it takes my breath away. Bless them all and send them strength. I don't know if there is enough strength.

So heartbreaking - how will the families affected ever enjoy a Christmas again?
Devastating.
Just picked my 5 and 8 year olds up from school and gave them extra, extra hugs.

This is just so devastating and tragic; Mike and I just cannot fathom what can go on in a mind of a person that they would massacre innocents....especially children. We are lighting a candle for all the families in grief tonight.

There are many days when the range of human behavior touches me in in unexpected ways. There are days like today when I'm deeply saddened over senseless acts of violence. Fortunately, those days are outweighed by acts of generosity and kindness. It doesn't make days like today any less horrifying.

I've been carrying around a heavy heart ever since I found out about this tragedy. Saying many many prayers for the families of the children and adults who were killed and also for the survivors. It's a sad day today....and so close to what is supposed to be one of the happiest days of a child's life.

My prayers are with these families and little children that died. I'm a teacher and a mother....my heart aches for these stricken families, but also for our Country. But as an American, I am ashamed that our Country has done nothing to prevent this. Maybe now our legislators might finally get it?
