OT please send prayers to Bobbie and her mom

Please send prayers and healing to Bobbie and her mother, her mother had a stroke 13 days after she fell and broke her back, she is out of the hospital after 2 days in there and the stroke didn’t leave any physical damage, the stroke was caused by a brain bleed. She will be having OT and PT coming 5 days a week.

Oh wow. Poor Bobbie's mom, and poor Bobbie! And what a time to have outside caregivers coming in 5x/week, though I'm sure they'll be taking all possible precautions... Sending tons of FDMB-vines-for-humans their way! :bighug: :bighug: :bighug:
 
I'm so sorry to hear this, poor Bobbie and her poor Mom. :( Please tell her we're wishing both of them well and sending a gazillion healing vines to her Mom. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh no. Prayers to Bobbie's mom for a speedy recovery. Prayers that God will provide a healing blanket of comfort for the entire family:bighug:
 
OT and PT sounds like a good sign! At least she's recovering - but it's still a stressful time. Hoping for a great outcome! Sending prayers and hugs to Bobbie and her family!
 
Thanks everyone! It’s been a trying time to say the least! My mom is recovery well. A little too well! Her dementia is gift and a curse. She doesn’t remember the fall or the 2 day hospital stay. And , she is now getting up in the middle of the night without her walker and going into the back room! Thank God for the baby monitor but sometimes I don’t hear her until she had reached the bathroom. Ugh!

Having people in the house is scary but the therapist are observing universal precautions.

I hope everyone is healthy and safe.

Bobbie, there is a bed alarm you can get, it goes under the mattress and when she gets up an alarm will go off, might could check into that, the alarm part will be closer to you, she won’t even know it’s there

Prayers for your mother ! I know its hard enough without the virus ! I know this makes it harder ! I pray she heals quickly ! Happy Easter ! Stay safe !
 
The alarms are great. They even have them for chairs and clip into clothes, so if they get up alarm sounds. My dad had them when in rehab, but in PC they are not allowed.
