Hi everyone!

The weather here has been dull and dreary; typical February weather for Southwestern Ontario. So I haven't been doing a lot of photography although I did get out yesterday for a while. We're not getting the usual assortment of winter birds; this winter has been so mild and with so little snow that the birds that normally migrate through here have stayed further north.

Thought I'd post a few here that I've posted in Facebook (and my other sites) over the last couple of weeks; playing catch-up since I no longer post daily.

Hi Judy, Great pics! That big buck is impressive. The males in our little herd are juveniles. The does keep them in line (literally; especially when crossing the street).

The only birds visiting my feeders regularly are a flock of 6 Chickadees and one lone Goldfinch.

Hugs,

Thanks Ella! My feeder is busy with mostly sparrows. I have a pair of cardinals that visit a few times a day for peanuts. There are 2 blue jays that visit for peanuts; a couple of chickadees and some juncos. I see a lot more of the birds when it's snowed out!
