Good afternoon my friends. It's been just shy of 3 months since Doodles went to play at the bridge. DH, civie Moo and I struggled more than imaginable with the loss of my sweet boy. I was pretty much useless for the first month. The days are getting easier (not better) and I can now think and look at Doodles pictures again and smile mostly. He'll always be my number one boy and miss him every day.
DH & I decided Moo needed a brother to torture and with the house feeling empty we picked up a little man named Leonardo 2 weeks ago. The "cat has been out of the bag" for a while with many of my dear friends here
Today I just wanted to share him with you all. Leonardo will be 4 months old on June 4th and already weighs 5lb, 3oz! He's a Ragamuffin and will grow to be a good 18-20lbs so a big little man like Doodles was. We did our best to keep him separated from Moo but for a little man, he sure has some lungs and has a nick name already of "Sir Scream-a-LOT.
I can seem to get the food out of the can fast enough
Something quite different from Doodles who was not food motivated at all. So the first picture is Leonardo in mid-scream.

Leonardo and Moo are co-existing pretty good. Moo is a cranky little girl and does like to hiss but not all the time. No fighting but they are not playing yet. Leonardo I a very calm, loving little kitten and would like nothing more to be friends with her. Luckily he does respect her space......most of the time. Here they are nose-to-nose and an extra picture of Moo because she's soo pretty.

I was pretty adamant about never getting another cat as the heart ache of saying goodbye to Doodles was too much. I use to wonder how you all have lost so many and continue to have more after. Guess I understand a little better now. It did take me a solid week to "let myself like" Leonardo. Now he grows on you ever second.
I find it difficult to "help" like I use to here on the board. More because if I'm not here every day and follow closely to the ECID and every Bean has different circumstances, then my "opinion" may not be solid enough. I do lurk often and all of you and the kitties here are always in my thoughts and prayers.

Too many pictures already taken of Leonardo but here are a few extra.
