Global Pharmacy in Canada has Lantus Solostar pens from Germany for $110.00 for 5 pens. They are great to deal with. Hope this helps. I just bought a pen locally and it was $83.68.

Barb - The price seems almost too good to be true, so I did a little research on this company. Here is what I found. Have you been ordering from them and getting good results?

We just got our last pen with the 25 USD price for six solostar pens and will need to be getting more in the near future. Sure hate to have to go back to paying those high prices. So, I am curious if others on the board have used this company?

You really have to be careful when ordering from Canadian online pharmacies. There are many "rogue" operations out there and they have names that are very similar to legitimate online pharmacies. Here's a link to PharmacyChecker.com list of rogue pharmacies:

If you peruse their site you will also come to a list of approved online pharmacies.
One of the problems in ordering from online Canadian pharmacies (it used to be a great way to get insulin less expensively) is that a rule went into effect several years ago that prohibits these pharmacies from sending insulin because the insulin supposedly cannot be kept cold enough to survive shipment. There was never a problem with this in the past, and I and many here ordered insulin from legitimate Canadian online pharmacies for years. Now they no longer list insulins in their list of drugs you can buy online.
There is a long thread of posts on this topic in Health (going back several years).

Hope this helps (muddies?).

Thank you Anne and Zenner and Ella & Rusty. I too ordered from an online Canadian Pharmacy and yes, they stopped listing the insulin. A friend recommended Global. They are not a recognized pharmacy so that is a no go.
