Thanks, everyone.
Gus has been here a week and is doing great. He loves to play and has tons of energy. He takes the stairs 2 and 3 at a time! Tomorrow will be a weigh day. I've been feeding FF T&G, which he likes (2 1/2 small 3-oz.cans a day). He didn't care for Paw Lickin' Chicken, so I stopped feeding it for a while. I'll be curious to see tomorrow if he has lost any weight--hopefully we are proceeding with his diet at a safe rate. He got kibble at the shelter, 2 cups a day.
He likes all of his beds and his cube. He sleeps with us at night and doesn't even stir. He is so quiet, we don't even realize that he is there half the time. He is a fine kitty.

Hi Lyresa @Squeaky and KT (GA),
I don't have too many pictures yet: he's too active! Here are two taken in the last week. Gus lost 4 ounces last week (right on track, according to Dr. Pierson). Curious to see where he will be this week. He loves food! Hi to Doc, Gus's twin!!
