OT: Hugs and Prayers for Bo and Mirko, Today

I know this condo should technically be posted in Community, but Lantus Land is where Bo's "family" is, and I know that she can use all the support she can get today.

Bo (from Bo and Jake) hasn't been opening a condo for over a month, ever since her husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Mirko's surgery date is today. If you could spare a prayer or a good thought for Bo and her husband Mirko, today,
I'm sure she'd appreciate it.

Bo, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, and that we are here wishing Mirko a successful surgery and a full recovery. (((Bo and Mirko and Jake))).
Please give Jake an extra bit of loving from me, because he probably won't understand the extra stress he feels.
 
Sending healing vines to Mirko and I will keep him in my prayers today....

Thanks for this thoughtful reminder Dyana! I'm sitting in radiology in the hospital waiting to have tests and honestly the date slipped my mind.
My thoughts and prayers are with you (((Bo & Mirko)))...all of my wishes for Mirko's speedy, easy and complete recovery!

We are sending all the healing vines, snowflakes, positive thoughts and mostly PRAYERS for Mirko's successful surgery. Also sending strength and comfort vines to Bo.

Just spoke to Bo

Bo emailed me and said that the surgery went well, and better than expected. The cancer had not spread and that is good!
She wrote "THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE PRAYERS ----- IT”S PROVEN that they are magic!"

I just spoke to Bo on the phone, and she said she just doesn't know the words to express her feelings to us, "without using the dictionary". :mrgreen:

This is such wonderful news. Often times Pancreatic Cancer has spread all over the abdomen before it is even diagnosed. It sounds like Mirko is a very lucky man. Will continue to pray that he makes a quick uneventful recovery.
