Hi all,
It's been a while since I've been here. One of the last times I was here was when there was an issue with retrieving our PM messages. I am still showing I have 1 message but I am unable to read it. I am also not able to PM anyone. There have been a few times when I logged back in hoping it would have corrected itself but I seem to remember maybe I was supposed to do something? Does anyone know how I can fix this? I tried to delete old messages to make room in my inbox but it won't let me do that either.
Thanks!

Hey Jenn!! How are you?

I'd suggest sending an e-mail to Robert. Venita may have his e-mail address although, I think webmaster at felinediabetes.com (replace the "at" with @). You could also post on the FDMB group on Facebook since I think he moderates that group, too. Robert has taken over the webmaster duties from Rebecca and he should be able to help.

Hi Jen-
I am hardly a techie..but figured this out for recently in my own PM account.
I know some other folks who cannot receive anymore PM's due to maxed out folders.
Mine were starting to get full but I discovered if you go to control panel>PM's> Rules/Folders/Settings...you can then ADD a folder. Name it whatever you want and apparently then have up to 250 messages PER folder.
SO I created a couple more folders and relocated some messages from existing folders to the new ones along with deleting some others. I now have freed up space again in the inbox. Maybe this will help you.

Also. my inbox shows 1 unread message. But I think it is actually just an old message that was not open or doesn't think it was open as opposed to a new message. You may just have to look through your inbox to see if something in it even from perhaps a long time ago was unopened.
If that is the case and you click to open it then the '1' indicator should go away.

it is hilarious that I am giving tech advice to anyone- you have no idea!

hope it helps!

I was hoping to foster another diabetic kitty but he ended up getting adopted. I think he will be on here, right now he's at the vet's. Having a little trouble getting used to his knew parents. Poor guy. His name is Oscar.

Since Tidus passed I started to foster for a local rescue. 2 black and white short hair kittens. Well, they are here now 4 months and are staying. I found it very difficult to "show" them at adoption events. They were super stressed out, shaking for the 6 hours they were there. I brought them twice, first time one ended up with a corneal ulcer he was so traumatized, so I decided to just keep them. They get along with my crew so it's all good. And it's great to have kittens running around. So my foster days failed, lol. I've been doing some other online volunteer work, still with DCIN but also for Pets on Death Row for NYC and Devore Shelter in San Bernardino, CA. No matter what I do, it's still not enough to fill the void TIdus left.

The boy kitten I have has Cryptorchidism so I'm praying some miracle will release his other testicle by Dec. 2 or he has to have exploratory surgery in addition to being neutered. Nothing is easy, lol

I've created a new folder. So maybe that will help. I can try to message Robert also. Thanks! I will try to pop in more often!

nice to see you, jenn!

all kitties are special, but some leave indelible prints on our hearts. seems that Titus was an extra special one for you. :YMHUG:

i imagine those new little kitters will make their own spot there before long. you're so good to help these homeless little ones. in fact, i'd say you were a completely successful foster-parent! got those kittens a good home, didn't you?!?
