Hello L & L Land - I've been lurking from time to time. Plum is still doing great OTJ and back to his happy, playful self, thanks to all your help. I have a friend whose little dog was just diagnosed today and of course, she's freaking out. Is there any site similar to this, that I could direct her to? She's located in Arkansas, if that matters at all. I did a quickie site search here but didn't see anything right away.

Best wishes, skritches, & vines for all in need.

From what I've read dogs are much easier to regulate but once diagnosed don't go OTJ. So glad Plum is doing well. Good luck to your friend.

The one Shelly gave you above www.k9diabetes.com is the best one I've found. It's not comparison to this one but this one is WAY above anything else out there....we're spoiled by that. :)

Dogs aren't nearly as carb sensitive as cats - they can still eat hard food, care is a bit easier and cheaper insulins work well.
