OT: Ella is pneumonia free!

YES! It's true!! I had a chest x-ray on Thursday and my lungs are finally clear! :joyful: It was a long haul, as some of you know. It started with a tick bite last spring, progressed to Lyme Disease, and then to Aspiration Pneumonia and a surgery for an esophagus diverticulum that was contributing to the pneumonia.
I want to thank you all for your support, prayers, vines, and friendship. Special thanks to Carla (@carfurby ) for keeping me on her prayer list! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Now I'm going out to snowshoe!! Gotta keep moving to keep those lungs flushed.

Thanks, everyone. Edward and I had a great snowshoe walk. Then we celebrated with homemade Quinoa veggie soup, a baguette, and a crisp Grüner Veltliner.
Gus went out in the deep, crusty snow in our backyard. He broke through the crust into the 2 feet of snow and hopped over as fast as he could to where the driveway was plowed. He didn't much like that kind of snow! :cat:

What a card your Gus is! And glad that you’re feeling better. Your post-snowshoeing dinner sounded great, too! Heaps of vines for continuing good health and no more pneumonia! ❤️
