OT - Diabetic Dog need treatment info

Okay I know we deal with FD Cats but in this last year I have learned you folks have a wealth of knowledge.

The rescue I help out with just got in a diabetic dog....anyone have a site as good as this one for the droolers?

Or for that matter where I find the sweet spot on a doggie's ear to test this little guy? They are a brand new rescue in my area and have a strict no-kill policy, but not a whole lot of resources as far as caring for the 'special needs" kids. So I'm going to hook them up with us here, to help any furture diabetic cats, but need a resource for diabetic dogs as fine as this one.
