Soliciting some positive vines please.

Yesterday I took Oscar for a checkup, had bloodwork done & it revealed an infection. Oscar has been prescribed Clovomax antibiotic 2x daily for a week.

This morning I had to call 911 as DH was in respiratory distress. He was intubated this afternoon and is in a medically induced coma in ICU. Respirologist is taking this one step at a time. Hubby suffers from COPD.

With the need to check in at the hospital and doubling up on my tasks at home, I will be keeping the BG testing to a minimum for now. The payoff for Oscar is a bit less poking over the next little while - still doing his BG prior to shooting, so he's not off the hook completely.

My late father also had COPD. There's nothing nice about it. Doesn't help that DH has an anxiety disorder on top of it. Thank you for caring and for understanding.

I am so sorry to hear that your DH is in the hospital. That sounds like a very scary situation. You know you have all our support, and lots of vines and prayers are headed your way.

When you get a minute, could you please remove the 911? It is reserved for an emergency situation with your cat, requiring immediate response. I trust all is well with Oscar? Hopefully he will be a good boy and not do anything dramatic as you deal with your husband's issues.
