I'm confused by Orion's numbers. The past 2 days I've been able to get mid cycle numbers, and they have been consistent with his PS numbers. Previously he has been much lower mid-cycle. Can anyone make sense of this? Also, I have had him at 1 unit because my concern was anything more would cause him to go too low mid-cycle but he has consistently been in the 300s. Should I bump up his dose again?

Love the picture!

With those low amps numbers, it looks like he may be dropping lower overnight. Any chance you could get a nadir overnight? If he does drop low overnight, then lowering the pm dose could help.

It's really difficult for me to. I take medications at night that put me in a state where I'm not really conscious enough to test blood sugar.

Orion was over 400 last night and this morning. Should I be increasing his dose? Please help.

I wish we knew more about the middle of the cycle - I know, broken record. I wonder if there is a fast drop before that8 and it is a bounce. Please plan a curve this weekend if you can.

Meanwhile, I guess try raising to 1.25 and see if the preshots go down.

Also is there any way of getting other numbers while we wait on the curve? I know you said nighttime nadir isn't possible but what about luck 2 or 3 hours after PM shot? Just a before bed is test. That info could give a clue about what's happening if he drops quickly. Any data you can get is valuable. :)

His PS is over 400 tonight. Am I concerned where I needn't be? Is this normal for a diabetic? Those 300s and 400s just really bother me.

He does have room to drop. I'd raise the dose to 1.25.

The pre shots are high, but he is definitely dropping so the insulin is working. We just need to find the right dose.
