Weird morning cycle today pretty sure at leased half her shot leaked out this morning because when I sniffed the injection site my nose actually got wet. Any ideas why her numbers didn’t skyrocket? Any chance her pancreas kicked in for a bit or could it just be purely coincidental that the day I messed up she had a really strong depot to cover her? My understanding was that fur shots were gonna equal really high numbers that cycle granted over yet to see how tonight’s gonna go.

It could be the depot. It could be that you will see the effects tonight or even tomorrow. It could be more got in than you think.

@tiffmaxee All too true, not that I'm looking a gift horse in the mouth. I'm glad she had some good numbers and in general things have been looking up for her but it just trips me out that her best daytime cycle to date happened on what I would swear to be one of the worst fur shots I've done, so I can't help but scratch my head and try to reason it out haha. I was expecting to see mid 200's all day. Now granted I am pretty sure the needle did pierce somewhat it just felt weird (tight and shallow). So I know some insulin got in, but it was very strong smelling of lantus and like I mentioned it was enough to wet my nose but who really knows how much leaked. Anyways +2 116 give or take about the same as preshot so tonight shouldn't be anything too crazy and sorry it took awhile to respond I usually try to catch an hour and a half of sleep before onset incase it turns into a low night.
