Ordering from Marks Marine pharmacy question

I’m looking into getting our next supply of insulin from Mark's Marine Pharmacy to save on cost. It costs me nearly $500 at CVS here in North Carolina. I'm just wondering how that works with shipping and the insulin staying at the temperature it should be with this horrible heat wave we've been having here. Do they ship pretty quickly and how long does it take to arrive usually? I'm assuming they will pack it with ice for shipping but I've never had anything shipped like that so I don't know how well that works and if the insulin will be safe from the heat and usable? Can someone give me some input on this? Tell me your experience with this pharmacy. Thanks so much.

Hi! They’re amazing. Ask for the upgraded shipping - styrofoam cooler and ice packs. It comes with an indicator that will tell you if the temperature range has been breached (mine never has; 3 orders in Utah hot summers). They’ll ask about weather conditions when you call with your first order (at least they did for me). They’re wonderful to work with!

I ordered mine on July 29, they shipped on August 5, and it arrived to me on August 10. Customer service is wonderful. You pay extra for the shipping upgrade with styrofoam and ice packs but it's worth it. Mine arrived from Vancouver to New Jersey with the ice packs still cold.

Mine arrived fine in FL in August. Going forward I'd order in the fall or spring. But with upgraded shipping - styrofoam cooler and ice packs it was fine. And yes, customer service is wonderful!
