? Order of operation for test/ meal/ shot?

Good morning, I got the BG monitor yesterday and was able to test Ailish before her shots last night and this morning.

Her BG is lower than it was reading on the Freestyle Libre she had previously which is encouraging!

Just waters to check, is the order of operations “test/ feed/ shoot” or is it something else?

I’m hoping to do more tests through the cycle soon. Unfortunately my time is limited due to a newborn. If I can only do one or two more a day right now, is there an ideal time to add them in?

Yes that is the correct order. It it is time for insulin, you want to make sure your cat hasn't eaten for at least a couple hours to get a good glucose reading. Good raises the glucose levels so that is why you want to test before feeding.
