Hi folks,
I’m now about a month post diagnosis with my baby Opus. It seems like we are starting to get a handle on things finally! We are up to 5 units, although we started with a nice safe 2 units twice a day. We’re getting the ball rolling on insulin delivery from Marks Marine. And I am so LOVING!! the spreadsheet for glucose tracking. Now it’s all in one place and once I get all of the pages from our crazy looking journal I might just be able to see a trend or two. So, I just want to see if anyone has words of encouragement and also to say hello to everyone else who is in the same slightly panicky boat that I am in. I am also super hoping that my spreadsheet worked properly.

Hello and welcome. Very scary to see that comment from your vet about not testing. Especially at 5 units. Head on over to the Health forum and we’ll help you make testing a good experience for both of you. Many of our sugar cats now come running when they hear us get the test kit (and treats) ready.
