OK, I'm new to this, and I left the insulin (ProZinc) out last week. The vet said it's probably OK to use since I live in Idaho and it's not 1000 degrees. He gave me some pre-filled syringes so I could compare, and it does seem to be working, just not as efffectively. Any opinions out there?

Are you home testing so you can do a curve? If you use your insulin and do a curve, test every 2 to 3 hours during a 12 hour period then the next day use the vets insulin and do another curve to compare the numbers it will tell you if your insulin is still good.
