The Vet gave Onsior to My Cat Trouble for pain due to severe bladder infection .
Trouble also has kidney disease. He is 10 years old and is really sick right now.
Has anyone used Onsior? Is it hard on the kidneys? I know Buprenex is safe but
Vet wanted to give onsior.
Trouble is not diabetic.

It is time limited - 3 days - to reduce possible impact.
Monitor for water intake and output, plus do dehydration checks (see my signature link Secondary Monitoring Tools for specifics)
