Quick question...
My sugar cat, Kizzy, was dx early August of this year. Vet wants her to only eat twice a day. However, Kizzy acts starving in-between those meal times and I'll catch her snacking on my civie cat's low-carb dry food (working on getting all dry out of the house, but at a 'happy medium' at the moment where both cats don't hate me...lol)
I know ECID, but do you feel it's best to only allow food at two feeding times a day? Or more smaller meals?
I feel the type of insulin comes into play with this question - Kizzy is on Lantus (which is longer acting so *should* be only 2 meals a day?)
And is it ok/healthy for civie cats to only eat twice a day also with no access to food in-between meals?
Thank you!
