Fritz's Mom

Hi everyone! So it has been just over a month since FDMB saved my Fritz's life.
I can't even describe what a different cat he is. It has been years since I have seen him look so good. Like I had mentioned before, he is almost 16 and has been a diabetic for 8 years. I was not home testing and his doses were all based on a twice/year fructosamine test.
It is unfortuante that my ignorance is what almost killed him, but thankful that it lead us here. My boy is now doing really well with 1.5u 2x daily. He is getting into the routine of bg testing!! He actually gets up on the table for me to do it!! No more dry food in the house EVER!!! To think my vet had me giving him 10 units 1x daily! And knew that he was on an all dry diet. I have learned more here in a short time than I ever did from any of the 3 vets he has had since his DX.
He is standing taller, fur is shining, jumping, no more "zombie"eyes and he has filled back out in his rear. (he was very sunken looking in his hind end)
He has put on some much needed weight. I feel so blessed to have him back and better than ever. I still am taking things one day at a time, still having a hard time getting the image of him having all those siezures and being almost comatose out of my head. But I am sure it will pass.
Again, from the bottom of my heart, we want to thank all of you beautiful souls for helping us! You are such an amazing group of people.
Much love to you all xoxo
Jolene & Fritz, I should also mention his brothers Mr. Bo Jangles and Quattro are also very thankful to have their big brother back.
