Before River ended up in the ER last weekend with DKA — pre-diagnosis — she was barely touching any of her food.
Now that she's home she was nibbling at the dry food we still had, and just tonight I went to Petco and got a bunch of wet food. I opened a can of Fancy Feast Classic Pate with beef and holy sh*t she's EATING.
Not just nibbling and pushing it around with her nose, CHOWING DOWN!!! I need to consult The Great Dietary Spreadsheet™ to make sure I'm hitting all the marks with the low carbs, but right now I could just about die I'm so happy.
