For Kathleen Jones' Friend:
I use these sometimes to record Ollie's bg. It's not as involved as the spreadsheet online and I, at some point, go back and enter the data online. It's not as good for keeping curves, those you just have to list vertically. The online spreadsheet is much better for curves and for keeping track throughout the day. Of course, it also has the benefit of immediate sharing with people who can help you when there's a problem. But I modeled the offline spreadsheet after the booklet that came with the Alpha Trak and maybe it will be useful for your friend (or anyone else) who is uncomfortable online.
Ollie has not needed insulin since Halloween night so I also have a spreadsheet for just tracking his numbers, since I still try to test him twice a day.
Hope this helps
