...but does anyone know off the top of their head what the conversion equation is for ml to fluid oz?

Carl

One ounce is equal to 29.5735296 milliliters. To convert milliliters to ounces, all you need to do is divide the number of milliliters by 29.5735296. Therefore, 700 milliliters is equal to 23.6698 ounces.

Awesome!
Now please let me know you didn't know that off the top of your head?
I just ate the all North-American meal.... Mexican food with Canadian beer. Look at the can, which seems extraordinarily large, and it says "473ml", but no "oz"? OK, so 16 oz... Makes sense, but why not just make it a half liter?

To confuse people that have canadian beer with their mexican food.............<insert innocent look here>

lol, i just wish I didn't have to get up for work at zero-hell thirty tomorrow. Otherwise, I'd give that a try.

I guess my confusion is - the beer is sold in Canada, to Canadians, who don't care about fluid ounces. They are all-metric, right? Aren't we the only country in the world that didn't convert to metric decades ago? So why can something for "metric" drinkers in non-metric volumes? It wasn't intended for export.
Ah well, tastes good (but the can doesn't fit well in a standard koozie). Wonder if they sell super-sized Canadian koozies?

burp,
Carl
