I upped his shot from 1u to 1.25u 3 shots ago, so this must be due to his dose increase.
I'm not going to panic(Outwardly) but damn!
I didn't find any clear puddles of puke, so I don't think he went hypo at all, unless he somehow dropped 300+ points in 7 hours.
His Alpha Trak number was 359 last night, 3 hours in. Couldn't get a relion reading but at this level it was probably just over 300.
I'm sure he just went lower than his liver wanted him to, but his poor body is going through hell.
If he doesn't drift into at least yellow areas by Monday, I'm calling the vet about maybe using a different insulin.

i know James. trying to get them regulated is hell in the beginning. we r going thru it too. so sorry. it will get better but i'm with you, i wish it were sooner.

For both of our kitties. :) He did this before where he stayed at 500ish all day and just before his last shot he dropped by 150+ points.
i'm sure he isn't bottoming out. He almost can't be.

He is still acting fine. He is hungry and energetic, but his sugar #'s are Sh_t!
I hope my friend is at least in the high 200's tomorrow.
Or very low 300's at this point.
So worried.

James, you are so early in the dance, its hard, i know. Hang on. The high number you got today is likely a bounce, which would mean that Obie got down to a lower number overnight than he has been in a long while. While it looks like an awful thing, its actually encouraging. It means he is responding to the injected insulin, and that is a great thing. Hold the line buddy. Its going to be okay.

Thank you. :)
He was at 404 this morning (Either that or his glucose was not found(A little Windows humor)on the Alpha, and 332 on the relion.
Definitely better than yesterday.
