Does anyone have any experience with this for diabetic cats?

I've been giving it to Beck (drooler) sometimes to help her digestive problems, and wonder if it will help my kitties deal with fur balls, etc., since they don't like when I put olive oil in their food.

Ingredients: dried whey, active dried yeast, ground flaxseed, yucca schidigera extract, dried aspergillus oryzae fermentation extract product, dried aspergillus niger fermentation extract product, lactobacillus acidophilus, bifidobacterium longum, bifidobacterium thermophilium, enterococcus faecium, bacillus subtilis, silicon dioxide.

Is it specifically for cats?

Not sure what whey or flaxseed will do to glucose levels.

Actually, it's for all animals, including horses, etc. They just give you a different dose amount based on the animal's weight.

When Beck started having digestive problems a few years ago, the people at the natural pet food specialty store I go to sometimes recommended this. Here's a link to the website. I'll email them and ask about carb content, 'cause I'm not sure about the whey. I think the flaxseed would be okay, since it's recommended on a low-carb diet plan that I have followed.
