I can't get Oscar to gain weight, and I am worried that he may be having a pancreatitis attack (was brought in for blood work this morning....should find out for sure soon). I have been looking everywhere and I can't find a nutritional break down of her raw food recipe like we get with Janet and Binky's charts. I remember combing catnutrition.org more than a year ago and finding where she did a breakdown of her own recipe, but I can't for the life of me find it again.

I am most interested in fat % and calories per oz (or similar weight measurement).

Hey Kelly

Sending eating vines for Oscar. You may want to send a PM to "Ann and Tess". She does Dr Lisa's raw diet and has some wonderful calculations.

I feed raw but it is a special low phosphorus diet, not Dr. Lisa's. Before that I used TCfeline and I have a breakdown of that in a tab on Tess's SS. Here is a link to where I got the info on the nutrients in the meat, but I'm not sure if they have info on raw meat w/ bone. That would effect the totals because they add to the weight but not much to the protein or fat for calories.

…….. I just remembered the on http://feline-nutrition.org/index.php i found this nutrient analysis that some one had had done of the raw diet there (basically the same as Dr. Lisa's). It was a couple of years ago and I couldn't find it on the site now, there has been a lot of reorganization.

Minimal analysis of raw diet made according to specifications for the "with bones" recipe (using whole chicken):
Moisture 75.25%

Protein 55% DMB

Fat 28% DMB

Fiber 5.6% DMB

Ash 11% DMB

Calcium 1.9% DMB

Phosphorus 1.7% DMB

Taurine .20% DMB
So? Am I generally pleased with how these numbers came out? Darn tootin' I am.

Another good feline nutrition site is Max's House

That is exactly the nutrition table I remember finding in the past - I was just remembering wrong which site it came from! Thanks!
