Numbers drop without insulin

I'm ashamed to admit it .. but this morning I turned off the alarm and fell back to sleep. By the time I woke up at 0800 it was three hours over the time I should have tested and given insulin to Camille. When I did test her at 0818 her number was at 435 (after food), but I decided to wait until 5:00 in the evening to give insulin. At 4:30 I tested Camille and her number was at 261. Why did it drop on it's own? Is that a good sign?

Yes is a good sign since it shows that the pancreases is working somewhat.

I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone. On Sunday morning I got up and tested Camille at 8:18 a.m. and her number was 435 after feeding. I skipped the shot because I was three hours late. That evening at 5:00 pm her numbers actually fell to 261, and I gave her a shot. The next morning her numbers were at 221 and I gave a shot. That evening her numbers shot to 482. So the day I skipped a shot her numbers fell. The days I gave a shot her numbers rose. What gives? :?:
