Well for some reason my kitty has gone number 2 outside the litter box two days in a row,she still pees in litter box tho. She went no 2 on counch then on rug downstairs. I havent changed anything as in litter box,litter,food or water,so not sure why this is,any ideas?

With it being new behavior, I'd always get a vet checkup in the first instance to make sure there isn't a medical cause - for instance, if she's constipated, she might be associating the litter box with discomfort.

She has been doing this downstairs,i blocked off the downstairs,hope this helps

It's worth trying, though if there is a medical cause it might just make her find somewhere else to go instead. I'd see how it goes over the next day or so - if she doesn't stop then I'd definitely get a vet checkup for her.
