novog and aspartame insulin

Does anyone know if Novog or Aspartame insulins are good for cats? I can get those ones free otherwise I will go fill the Lantus prescription next week.

to be honest i've never heard of either one of those. could the novog be novolog? if so, no, go with the lantus. aspartame as far as i know is an artificial sweetener. i've never heard of an insulin by that name.

Novalog is very short acting. Too short for kitties.
I never heard of Aspartame insulin. Aspartame is an artificial sweetener.
I think you mean Aspart insulin. That too is fast acting.
Both act faster than R insulin.
