It’s been almost two months since a Blitzen had the seven teeth pulled and he’s just a different cat. He eats well for a few days and then very little for a day or two . At that point I just started putting a dab and I mean a small dab of Mirataz on his ear and that gets him eating within a few hours and starts eating good for a few days repeating the pattern.

I can’t explain the changes in him but he’s just a different cat, seems to have aged five years and doesn’t seem to enjoy anything like he once did. All his blood work is fine so I have no idea. Maybe it’s the Mirataz , guess I need to look more into it and see if that could be a problem.

Anyone have any idea, thought, or experience like this?

Is he a diabetic cat?
He may be nauseated. Ask the vet for some cerenia or ondansetron.
Also did the vet do X-rays after the extractions to see everything was removed?.
It would be worth going back to the vet and getting him to check Blitzens mouth again.

When he had his dental, did they do post-procedure x-rays? There's a possibility that there's a shard of tooth left and it's causing pain. The only way to know is if they took x-rays.
