Hello!
My beautiful 14 year old Storm was diagnosed in February, we've been feed the Purina DM (wet and dry) as per vet recommendations but I've recently learned that's not the best! I'd love to switch her completely to wet food, but I'm getting overwhelmed looked at the charts and don't know which to pick.
Can anyone recommend some foods to try? For reference she is about 5.5lbs, she likes chunkier foods over pates and we live in Canada (ontario).
I currently feed her every 12 hours, she gets about a teaspoon of wet and a 1/4 cup dry. She is currently getting 4 units of Lantus every 12 hours. Unfortunately, I don't have recent numbers for her as I track on paper and have been giving them to the vet. However, I know that she has not been below 13.5 mmol/L (sorry I don't know how to convert) in the last 3 months, and usually she sits between 15.5 and 23.5.
