Any recommendations to replace my clear packing tape on the fridge and freezer? Missy found my perfectly prepared (thankfully deboned chicken) for her breakfast. It's hard to monitor my fiesty friends food intake when she head butts her way into opening my fridge. I want her to stay in remission.

My chicken was baked with liquid amino and mrs dash. I hope the ingredients are not dangerous. The removed skin had the bulk of the flavoring.

Well, that's one I've never heard before, LOL. Missy sure is clever... maybe too clever for her own good. I'm still thinking on an alternative to the clear packing tape but haven't come up with anything, yet. I'll keep thinking.

And I love her avatar! She appears to be quite the character.

Was there any onion or garlic in the seasoning? If yes, how far down on the ingredient list?
Those are toxic to cats.

I think a one time ingestion isn't necessarily going to do anything....
you just have to observe and act if you see signs....

My Shadow used to love our roast.... and it was loaded with garlic and onion.....
She ate it almost all of her life and never had any reaction.....I didn't know to not give it to her.... and she always came running.....
that and Le Sueur peas.....

Hi @Missy's Mum - they make a child-proofing very sticky velcro closure just for the two-legged kids. You should be able to find at BabiesRUS, Amazon, or any baby store. I had some for my dog who would do the very same thing. I had to replace it every few years as it got less and less "sticky" but it worked a treat.

That is one clever cat!

I say, go with the VELCRO! You could even get you some hardcore stuff at the hardware store for cheap, and do it yourself.
Anyone at the store would love to help you, if ya told 'em that story!:joyful:
Missy looks like a sweet bundle of trouble!

Does your frog have an external handle? If so, use a small bungie cord hooking hand to somewhere on the back of the frog. Animals (especially cats) are very say to problem solving. In fact, they can be down right amazing when it comes to getting their way. It's worth a try! Good luck from jane and stewed.

Maybe put everything she likes into tupperwear/ziplock containers? Or can she get the lids off of them, too? Please don't tell me she had developed opposable thumbs!

Well, this is an interesting conundrum ... have no additional suggestions to add to those above, but just wanted to say that
her avatar photo is a hoot! Love it!!!:D

I actually looked at it really quickly and thought it was a bowler hat, not a bowl. Made me think "Cat in the Hat". I just love the look on her face.
