Hi all! Charlie started off with sky high numbers but in the afternoon and currently they're great! Amps was 466 got 5 L 3 R then +5 was 414. Gave 2 R and +8 233 +10 258 and pmps 285. I'm so afraid of bouncing like he usually does. Anyone please input on wether or not I should give r and how much? Usually has been getting 3 u at shot time. His diarrhea was bad this am but started zeniquin and still on metro n forti fl and no diarrhea since 4 pm (it's now 9). He's due right kow for his shots. Please advise when you can. Will also post board specialist report shortly. Thank you!

I would increase on the Lantus -- it's been 6 cycles. I don't know what to tell you about the R. I don't think you should shoot 3.0u, though. My gut is saying no more than 1.0u but you may want to get some input for some of the folks experienced with R.

I agree with Sienne on the Lantus increase - it's time. Good luck with the zenequin - I hope it helps.

Since you're starting with a lower BG, and you're increasing the Lantus, i think going with 1uR is ok. Don't shoot past +2, though. I also think it would be an ok option to skip the R tonight if you're too late in the cycle.

Would you be able to put your R doses into the spreadsheet instead of in the comments section? I'm concerned that they might get missed. I think from your comment above that you gave R at am+5 - is that right? I want to make sure that we're not missing any of the doses, and while i did read the ss comments before your post here, and even though you said it, i didn't "see" the 2uR at +5 comment.

What you can do is to add it right into the cells on the spreadsheet, then you manually color the cells to show the color range. To color the cells, there is an icon like a beaker pouring a few icons to the right of the bold icon - you click on it and then choose the color you want for the cell.

Take a look at punkin's ss here and look at the line for 1/24/12. You can see i used R several times that day.

I will update the r on spreadsheet ASAP. Trying to figure out how to upload his report from the specialist right now having a hard time with my laptop. Grrrr!

I am having trouble getting the docs to all go into one file. I had to edit the signature line but 3 of 4 pages is that link. I can upload it much easier at work tomorrow am. His bg right now is 299 AND HE HAD A NORMAL STOOL! for the first time in weeks! I'm over the moon right now!!!!

awesome! so that new med is helping already! normal poop in a kitty with diarrhea for weeks is no small thing!

Hi there

Fabulous news ! :thumbup

This will make a positive difference - constant diarrhea depletes intracellular fluids and really screws with electrolytes. . .

Woot!
