Pumbaa had a 575 and a 509 yesterday.

He ate like a pig this morning, but hasn't been acting right. Normally he hangs out in the living room or in my office, but today he's been hiding under my bed.

So far, his numbers have all been in the 200's today...which I am happy about.

I know all cats are different, but is it normal for some to act listless/go hide after a big bounce day? I'm equating a bounce like that in a cat to us eating an entire gallon of ice cream then coming down from the sugar high. Yes? No?

I haven't been able to get any urine yet today...but will keep trying. Success! Just grabbed him and put him in the litter box and he cooperated and pee'd on command. No ketones!

KT reacts the same way with his bounces - sleepy, sleeping in out of the way places, fur icky feeling and just overall looking sad....

HUGS!

Harley also acts the same way. Very tired and wants to stay in a dark room all day. Usually by the next day he is up and around.

Thank you, Pattie. Poomba rallied later in the day, so that was good. It's also good to know that other cats react this way, too, so I don't worry so much. :)
